Victory Junction: FREE
My kids, Corey (neurological week) and Ashley (sibling camp) attended in 2014 and said it was the best. It is more like a resort than a camp. Also several friends have gone to this camp and their children cry not wanting to leave they had so much fun. It seemed they had an adult counselor for each child. The cabins had 7 kids with 6-7 adults and a nurse between 2 cabins. They have a state of the art medical program. If your worried about sending your child to camp because of medical than this is the one to try first. They also have a sibling camp which Ashley made 6 new BFFs, had an incredible time and I would consider her on the shy end. Victory Junction serves 24 chronic medical conditions and serious illnesses such as, but not limited to, Autism, Cancer, Craniofacial Anomalies, Diabetes, Hemophilia, Sickle Cell and Spina Bifida. This camp is worth the drive!! Close to High Point, NC and zoo if you want to stay.
