FAST Fins Spring 2018 Registration
FAST Fins participants must be at least 5 yrs of age, be able to swim at least one length of the pool (25 yards), and must be safe in the pool without 1:1 assistance. Participants do not learn to swim at FAST Fins – they develop strokes and build endurance through lap swimming. To determine if FOCUS FAST Fins adaptive swim team program is appropriate for your child, please answer the questions below to the best of your ability.
All swimmers will be evaluated each season for their ability to take instruction in a group, to function with a 1 coach:4 swimmers ratio, and to NOT require 1:1 assistance for behavior or cooperation; if FAST Fins is not a good fit, your registration fee will be returned. New swimmers will be evaluated before the start of the season. If FOCUS feels as though a pre-season, in-person evaluation is necessary, you will be contacted to try to set up a date for an evaluation.
Each individual swimmer must have an application on file BEFORE the season begins!
Swimmers are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. All registration fees are due no later than February 2, 2018.
The cost for a swimmer is $180. There is a $20 discount for a second swimmer in the family when applicable. There are scholarship options available for families who need financial assistance to help pay for FAST Fins. Please check the box later in the application if you would like to receive more information regarding scholarships.
